This time last week the Tenterden Five a side world was rocked with the news that stalwart Cupid Stunts FC servant Paul Newman was set to be ousted by angered manager George Dyke. Dyke, who he also plays alongside at an international level for Troggs International FC, look set to hand Newman a second chance in tonight’s FA cup fixtures, in a sensational change of heart. Dyke, speaking at a press conference earlier today, said: “Paul and I go back along way and besides being a great footballing talent, he is a loyal friend. We haven’t seen eye to eye recently but Paul knows he was in the wrong and submitted a formal apology which the club have accepted. Paul will play tonight from defence while my self and Moon continue our hunt for goals up front.”

This is bad News for new Cupids signings Tony Carty and Andy Adamson who look set to miss out on another Trophy as the Cupids line up tonight as surprise joint favourites with the side who beat them in the final last week, Northern Lights.

Carty is rumoured to be considering an 11th hour loan move to Serco Sonics in order to impress his Cupids manager and stake his claim for a place in the side that begins their summer league campaign on wed 12th.
